Hedgewars is a free and open-source game and is based on the Worms series. It is similar to Wormux, another open-source clone of Worms. Hedgewars is cross-platform and runs on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X. The latest version, 0.9.12, was released on October 18, 2009.
